Services - DeFi development, from protocol contracts to the app people use

DeFi development means building financial products that run on smart contracts instead of intermediaries: lending markets, vaults, liquidity managers, and exchanges. We build the whole stack, from Solidity contracts and subgraph indexers to the interface where users deposit, borrow, and vote, on EVM chains and Solana.

We built the full front end of the Ethereum Credit Guild, an oracle-free lending protocol that reached $2M in total value locked, the non-custodial vaults behind YieldBase, and the liquidity simulator behind Metrix Finance.

What we build - The parts of a DeFi product, end to end

Some teams need a full protocol. Others have audited contracts and need everything around them. We cover both.

  • Lending and borrowing. Markets, collateral and liquidation logic, leverage, and interfaces that make them usable. For the Ethereum Credit Guild we built the lending, borrowing, and leverage flows with multicall and ERC20 permits.
  • Vaults and liquidity managers. Non-custodial vaults that allocate capital across pools and keep concentrated-liquidity positions in range, as in YieldBase. Our liquidity management automation service covers the bots that run them.
  • Governance. On-chain DAO tooling: proposals, votes, veto, timelock, and delegation, which we built for the Ethereum Credit Guild alongside its on-chain auction system.
  • Simulators and analytics. Tools that model outcomes before capital moves, like the Metrix Finance liquidity simulator, plus protocol dashboards and strategy P&L tracking.
  • Indexing and data. Subgraphs and indexers that turn contract events into fast queries for your app and your analytics, as on YieldBase, Metrix Finance, and Kleek.
  • Cross-chain and stablecoin flows. Native USDC movement with Circle CCTP, deposits into Hyperliquid, and integrations with Uniswap v3 and v4, Orca, and Raydium.

How we work - Built for adversarial conditions

DeFi code runs where anyone can call it with any input, front-run it, or move a price for one block. We design for that from day one.

  • Economic design review. Before code, we model the incentives: who profits from each action, what a flash loan can do in one block, and what happens when a price moves 50%.
  • Fork tests against real liquidity. Every strategy and integration is tested against forked mainnet state, with the real pools and the real liquidity it will meet.
  • MEV and slippage protection. Slippage bounds, deadlines, and private transaction routing where it matters, so users and vaults are not sandwiched.
  • Non-custodial by default. Users keep control of their funds. Admin powers are minimal, time-locked, and visible on-chain.
  • Interfaces that show the risk. Health factors, liquidation prices, and fees displayed before a user signs, not discovered after.
  • Observability. Dashboards, alerts, and indexers, so you see TVL, positions, and anomalies as they happen.

Pricing - What DeFi development costs

We publish our ranges. At a blended rate of $500 to $700 per engineer-day, project management, QA, and deployment included:

  • A dApp front end on top of existing contracts: $12,000 to $30,500, in 3-5 weeks.
  • A custom DeFi protocol with an admin dashboard and an indexer: $22,500 to $70,000, in 3-7 weeks.
  • Multi-chain or Solana work multiplies the build effort by 1.15 to 1.4.
  • External security audits are not included. For a protocol that holds user funds, we strongly recommend one.
